Bryan Station blanks Cooper

Cooper opened the season with a pair of lopsided wins.

But the Jaguars were on the receiving end of a blowout on Friday, as they fell, 36-0 to Bryan Station in a game delayed by weather and eventually halted because of exploding stadium lights.

The Defenders opened the scoring late in the first quarter, and right after the game was stopped because of lightning.

After nearly an hour delay, the game resumed and Bryan Station posted three more touchdowns before halftime.

The Defenders scored again in the third quarter, but the game was stopped for good when several stadium lights blew up due to high wind, spraying glass on the field.

Cooper, which fell to 2-1, hosts Campbell County next Friday.
