He is not flashy nor is he a headline grabber but Matt Wilcox has been “Mr.
Dependable” for Wayne ever since his freshman year. With a blue collar, lunch pail work ethic Wilcox has been steady and reliable game after game over the past three seasons. Whether it be rushing or receiving every time Warriors head coach Jay Minton has called his number and it is usually in clutch situations, Wilcox has responded with flying colors.

The versatile 5-foot-10, 185 pound Wilcox has parlayed his on field success into offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.

Matt heads into his senior campaign needing just 24 receptions and 594 receiving yards to crack Ohio’s Top 30 all-time in both of those categories.
