Grand Offers for the Class of 2018

There are some real gems locally in the Class of 2018 and Big 5 Power Conference college football programs are hot in bidding for their services. Many of these recruits have wonderful options weighing on them. Their decisions on where they land will be pleasantly difficult.

Next season’s seniors include highly courted OL Jack Carman and DL Malik Vann from Fairfield. Dunbar has WR Joe Scates, RB Tavion Thomas who both have offers from Alabama and Ohio State. Also with offers from those two schools are Vann, Carman, Moeller DE Aeneas Hawkins and Wayne WR L’Christian Smith.

This is a really deep and talented group at receiver. The position includes Smith, Scales Xenia’s Meechi Harris, Summit Country Day two-sport star Xavier Johnson along with Xavier Peters from Lakota West. Peters has seen his stock rise dramatically since the season ended.

Several players have already made their verbal commitments. Last week Covington Catholic QB announced his decision to play for head coach Chuck Martin at Miami (OH). Wayne DE Alex Reigelsperger announced Kentucky is home to him. Cincinnati has gotten verbals from a pair of GCL South state champions in OLB/DE Blake Bacevich from St. Xavier and La Salle WR/TE Josh Whyle.

Here is a look at the offers for players from teams covered by TriState Football.
