Beechwood stifles NewCath

Logan Castleman and James Davis scored two touchdowns each as Beechwood beat Newport Central Catholic, 34-6 in the teams’ regular season finale.
The Tigers ran off the first 34 points before allowing a late score.
It was the fourth straight week Beechwood had held an opponent to six points or fewer and the sixth times the Tigers have accomplished that feat this season.
Beechwood and NewCath will start their playoff seasons at home. Metcalfe County will head to NCC while the Tigers’ opponent is TBA.
