Dayton Team of the Year: Alter

Alter offensive assistant Tim Edwards accepted the Knights trophy for being named as TSF.com's Dayton Team of the Year.

After earning back-to-back Ohio Division state titles, the Alter Knights were recognized as TSF.com’s Dayton Team of the Year on Monday at our Year In Review Show at Cadillac Jack’s Sports Bar in Centerville.

The Knights finished the season with a perfect 15-0 mark and proved that they were more than a one-hit wonder. A dominating defense and a power-running attack were the recipe for success for head coach Ed Domsitz and his staff.

The team averaged 302 yards per game on the ground and limited opponents to less than seven points per contest.

Centerville, Chaminade-Julienne, Lebanon, Trotwood-Madison, and Wayne were also nominated.
