By GetSports Desk | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

Quarterback Connor Kelley accepts the award for Indiana Team of the Year for Batesville.

Coming off their first-ever outright EIAC title, the Batesville Bulldogs were named TriStateFootball.com Indian Team of the Year on Wednesday night at our Year in Review Show at Longneck’s Sports Grill in Wilder, Kentucky.

Batesville finished the season with an 11-1 mark, the best in school history, and rewrote the Bulldogs’ record books in the process.

Quarterback Connor Kelley set the single-season and career marks for passing yards and passing touchdowns. Wideout Tom Jeffers enjoyed the single-season mark for receiving yards and touchdowns as well.

Amongst Batesville’s 11 victories were keys wins versus conference for East Central and a huge effort against New Palastine at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis.
