GWOC Central: Recruiting Wrap

By Dan Clasgens | Managing Editor

Wayne defensvie lineman Terry Talbott signed with Michigan.

Signing Day took place this Wednesday and the Greater Western Ohio Conference’s Central Division was well represented.

The Wayne Warriors made a big splash with three Big Ten commits. Linebacker Josh Harrison signed his Letter of Intent with Wisconsin. Meanwhile, defensive lineman Terry Talbott and his brother, defensive Terrence Talbott, both will be headed to Michigan.

"I'm really excited for that and I'm counting down the days right now to when I can leave and go up there," Terry Talbott, who was also considering North Carolina, told Rivals.com about heading to Ann Arbor.

The team that battled Wayne at the top of the conference, Centerville, also had two seniors sign. Running back/defensive back John Ehrensberger committed to Dayton and linebacker Jamael Green is headed to St. Francis (Ind.).

Elsewhere in the GWOC Central, Northmont defensive back Quintin Cooper will continue his career at Ball State and Fairmont offensive lineman Jordan Erbes (Eastern Michigan) and Michael Shope (Youngstown State) will also get a chance to continue their careers at the next level.
