Senior Salute: Brad Rhodes

By TSF Staff | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

Wide receiver Brad Rhodes rewrote the Western Brown record books with a fantastic senior season.

BRAD RHODES, WR/K, WESTERN BROWN
Brad Rhodes helped change the perception of an entire football program with his ability to stretch the field as a wide receiver. Until four years ago Western Brown was known as a “grind it out” running attack. That is when Rhodes talents could no longer be ignored.

The senior capped off a fantastic career by setting Western Brown school records for career receptions (101), receiving yards (1,546) and receiving touchdowns (20). In 2010 he rewrote the books with single season numbers of 1,007 yards, 75 receptions and 13 touchdowns receiving. He also set marks with 17 receptions and 220 yards in a contest.

His leg also helped him find the record books as well with seven PAT’s in a game, 80 PAT’s and five field goals in his career. That includes a memorable last-second game winner against Bethel-Tate in 2009.
