Madison Nearing Coaching Decision

Madison athletic director Darren Stevens has narrowed his list of head coaching candidates to 11 people, according to the Pulse Journal.

Doug Carlberg (Lakota West assistant/freshman coach)

Scott Jordan (Little Miami assistant)

Luke Bartlett (current Madison assistant)

Tony Albrinck (Harrison defensive coordinator)

Chris Wells (Hamilton defensive coordinator and former Middletown assistant)

John Hart (Springfield Shawnee head coach)

Sean Adams (Clear Fork defensive coordinator)

Cory Hanes (Fayetteville offensive coordinator)

Larry Getts (Harding HS (Ind.) assistant)

Chris Roark (Alter assistant and former Fenwick head coach)

Martin Brunke (Youth football coach)

The paper reports that each of the candidates will be interviewed over the next few days, with 2-3 finalists being determined by week's end. The school hopes to name a coach during the first week of June.
