The Bellevue Tigers used two fourth-quarter touchdown runs by running back Jordan Fogleman to seal a 21-0 victory over the Walton-Verona Wildcats on Friday night at Gilligan Stadium.

Bellevue (1-0) got on the board first when Jake Sparks connected with Nolan Rechtin on a 68-yard TD strike in the opening quarter, but both defenses would keep things on lock down from there. The Tigers defense completed the shutout by applying constant pressure and winning the battles in the trenches most of the night.
Walton-Verona (0-1) will look to turn their fortunes around next week as they welcome Henry County while the Tigers will travel to Newport.
