By TSF Staff | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

Lonnell Brown had a 43-yard punt return and a 31-yard catch for Roger Bacon touchdowns.

The Roger Bacon Spartans bounced back after a dismal Week 1 performance in a big way as they put up 401 total yards of offense in a 48-20 rout of the North College Hill Trojans.

Roger Bacon’s (1-1) Griffin Mouty made life miserable for the Trojans all night long as he amassed 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the way for the Spartans. Quarterback Josh Wilking added two more scores on 97 yards on 5-of-7 passing in the win.

North College Hill (1-1) just couldn’t get the job done when it counted all night long. They converted just three times on 13 third down attempts and turned the ball over twice. Mykell Ward did score two touchdowns in the loss.

Roger Bacon travels to Western Hills and North College Hill gets Madeira in Week 3 action next Friday night.
