By TSF Staff | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

Fenwick (3-0) continues to flex their muscles after blanking Valley View (1-2), 28-0. The Falcons appear to be a force in Division IV, Region 16 as they look for their first post-season berth since 2004. The past two seasons this team has started off 5-0 and 7-0 only to miss the playoffs.

Quarterback Austin Gearing ran for 81 yards, had two rushing touchdowns, one passing score while throwing for 141 yards in the win. Receiver Leo Haenni caught seven balls for 109 yards and a score for Fenwick.

It was the Falcons defense that was fantastic allowing the Spartans just 128 total yards on the night and forcing two turnovers. Frank Catrine came up with two interceptions for the victors. Catrine racked up 157 all-purpose yards in the contest.

Fenwick looks to remain unbeaten as they host McNicholas next Friday night. Valley View hopes to regroup as they head to Oakwood for their second of four straight road tilts.
