GWOC: Green Great In Lead Role

By TSF Staff | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

Replacing former Division II Offensive Player of the Year, Antwan Gilbert, was not an easy chore but Isreal Green has done it quite nicely for Trotwood-Madison (3-0). The junior running back has stepped up with 463 yards rushing, has run for no less than 134 in a contest and has two touchdowns in each of the Rams wins. He is coming off a career high 193 yards against Beavercreek and is averaging 14.0 per carry. His performance versus the Battlin' Beavers put him over 1,000 yards on the ground in his career (now with 1,120).
