NKY 1A: Battered Bellevue

By Greg Shoemaker | Featured Analyst

The injury and illness bugs have hit Bellevue (3-3) hard this season. With Beechwood (5-1) coming to town on Friday night that doesn't bode well for the Tigers. Bellevue has seen 27 of the 40 kids on their roster miss at least one game this fall. "We have had nine concussions this season, I haven't seen that many in my 25 years coaching combined" head coach Mike Croley told TriStateFootball.com. "We even lost a kid to Scarlet Fever....Scarlet Fever." The Bellevue offense has seen their starting fullback a, tailback and right guard all who were factors in the Tigers opening win over Walton-Verona, go down with season-ending injuries.
