FAVC Buckeye: Wildcats Reverse Fortunes

By Greg Shoemaker | Featured Analyst

The hottest team in the FAVC Buckeye is the Harrison Wildcats (4-3, 2-0) who have won four straight games after starting the year 0-3. Two of those loses came to East Central (IN) and Kings who are a combined 15-0. The Harrison defense has been stellar with two shutouts while allowing just 20 total points during the win streak. They are also +10 in turnover margin and have allowed just 125.5 yards of total offense in those contests.

The offense has benefited big time by having short fields averaging 43.5 points per tilt in the four victories with a 38.5 margin on the scoreboard. Jake Tarvin has taken over at running back. The senior ha rushed for 288 yards and four touchdowns the past two weeks, including a career high 204 yards against Glen Este last Friday.
