In a double-overtime thriller Cincinnati Country Day (6-3, 3-3) sent Lockland (6-3, 3-3) to their third straight loss and gave them a leg up for a Division VI, Region 24 playoff berth. It was just the second win for the Indians in the last five weeks after starting the year 4-0. The Panthers who started 6-0 are in serious jeopardy of missing the postseason for the first time in five years.
Jordan Patterson ran for two touchdowns in overtime, Arjun Minhas caught two of Jake Dietz’s three scoring tosses. Zach Higginbotham caught the other and ran for the games opening points for the winners. Dietz now has 14 touchdown passes on the year and 27 for his career. Minhas has now found the end zone eight times which ties him for the team lead.
Cincinnati Country Day closes out the year against Cincinnati Christian (2-7, 0-6). Lockland looks to regroup with a home tilt versus Clark Montessori (4-5, 2-4)
