NKY 2A: Hightchew Elevates His Game

NewCath (9-0, 3-0) quarterback, Brady Hightchew started his career 1-5 as a starter. The Thoroughbreds only averaged 14 points per game during that less than memorable start to his career. Then Hightchew blossomed, beginning with a win against Newport on October 2nd, 2009 the senior has guided NCC to 28-3 mark which includes a Kentucky Class 2A state championship. The 'Breds have averaged 40 points per contest during that span. In those 31 tilt's, The senior has thrown for 3,600 yards, completed 67.3% of his passes with 32 touchdowns tosses while running for another 2,883 yards and 30 scores.

With a win over Beechwood on Friday night NewCath will capture their first undefeated regular season since 2003. The signal caller currently ranks second (trailing only Patrick Towles at Highlands) amongst all active area quarterback's with 29 wins under center.
