Quarterback Max Nussbaum scored four times in a win over Ludlow.




The Beechwood Tigers picked up their eighth straight victory and their second win of the season over Ludlow with a 56-0 win on Friday night.

Playing in limited action, quarterback Max Nussbaum tallied 191 rushing yards and four touchdowns on just nine carries to lead Beecwhood (11-1). Cameron Vocke contributed two more scores and another 161 yards on the ground as he inched closer to the 2000-yard mark for the season.

The shutout is the second of the season pitched by the Tigers’ defense. The unit is giving up just eight points a game over the last six weeks and totally shut Ludlow (3-8) down in this contest.

Beecwhood will now host Frankfort next week as they continue their march to Bowling Green and a shot at a state championship.
