The competitive balance began to equal out in the SBAAC National division. In the end it was still the East Clinton Astros coming out on top.
East Clinton linebacker Matt Blackburn was a dominant force on defense as he earned Player of the Year honors. Blackburn was in on 116 total tackles, had two interceptions, he returned both for touchdowns, registered 15 tackles for losses including 2.0 sacks and came up with three fumble recoveries to end his career.
