Offers Growing For Welsh

Springboro junior Sean Welsh received his sixth offer in early December from Cincinnati. The 6-foot-3, 275 offensive and defensive lineman has offers from Bowling Green, Ohio University,Toledo, Kent State and Miami University as well.

Welsh received recent visits from Stanford, Boston College, Ohio State, Indiana and Northwestern. He also accepted game invitations this fall from Notre Dame, Northwestern, Ohio State, Kentucky and Michigan. There are several other BCS programs of mutual interest.

The Panthers anchor has some great honors already to his name as a three-year lettermea and three-year GWOC scholar athlete. He earned First Team All-Division, Second team Dayton Daily News All-Area and Honorable Mention All-District as a junior and Second team All-Division as a sophomore.
