The postseason hardware was handed out at TGI Friday’s in Crestview Hills on Monday, saluting the best in high school football this year in the Northern Kentucky area.
Highlands quarterback Patrick Towles was named our Northern Kentucky Offensive Player of the Year. The reigning Mr. Kentucky guided the Bluebirds to their fifth straight state championship, the third of which he was under center for.
The Kentucky commit finished his senior year with 3,820 yards and 42 touchdowns with just one interception as he completed 181 of 279 passes and rushed for 589 yards and 15 additional scores.
Other nominations included Tyler Durham (Campbell County), Kyle Fuller (Holy Cross), Gabe Gray (CovCath), Brady Hightchew (New Cath), and Cameron Vocke (Beechwood).
