Dayton Offensive POY: Israel Green

Trotwood-Madison RB Israel Green was named the Dayton Offensive Player of the Year.




The postseason hardware was handed out last week, saluting the best in high school football this year in the Dayton area.

Trotwood-Madison running back Isreal Green saved his best for last running for 326 yards and a record six touchdowns in the Rams state championship game win over Avon. The junior earned Division II, First-Team All-Ohio and TriStateFootball.com Dayton Offensive Player of the Year honors after finishing the season with 2,086 yards and 27 touchdowns on the ground and 29 scores overall.

Green heads into his senior season with 2,743 yards rushing, 35 rushing and 37 total touchdowns with 2,976 all-purpose yards.
