Signing Day Recap: GCL North

Signing Day came and went in the Tri-state area and many of the area’s top players signed their letters of intent on Wednesday, including a handful of athletes out of the GCL North.

Fenwick quarterback Austin Gearing (6-5, 200) is one of several local players to commit to the Miami RedHawks and head coach Don Treadwell.

One of his favorite targets, tight end Nick Durham (6-4, 220), is headed to Columbia. Meanwhile classmates, offensive linemen Michael Koehlke (6-4, 275) and running back Nick Marchetti (6-0, 190), are headed to Ohio Domincian and Notre Dame College respectively.

Offensive linemen Ray Marlow (6-7, 323) signed with Toledo.

Chaminade-Julienne athlete Darian Reynolds (5-10, 165) will continue his football career at Ashland.
