By Dan Clasgens | Managing Editor

Madeira offensive lineman Kyle Williamson signs his letter of internt with UC.

Several area athletes made their decisions official by signing their letters of intent on Wednesday and National Signing Day. There were a handful of football players out of the CHL that were included in the mix.

Madeira’s Kyle Williamson, a First-Team All-TSF offensive linemen, was one of the conference’s marquee players over the past two seasons. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound tackle is staying home after signing with Cincinnati. His Mustangs’ teammate, WR/DB Joe Bodnar (5-9, 170) will be headed to Dayton.

Wyoming offensive linemen Terry Davis (6-4, 305) landed at Miami-OH after originally giving a verbal commitment to NC State. Fellow Cowboys’ offensive lineman Larson Graham (6-4, 275) is headed to Duquense. Meanwhile, teammate DE Dennis Austin (6-2, 200) signed with Findlay.

Steve Bell (6-7, 290) anchored the Indian Hill offensive line and now he’ll be asked to do the same at Ball State after committing to the Cardinals.

Deer Park is sending several players to the next level including RB/DB Brandon Reeves (5-10, 175) – Deer Park; QB/S Tyler Osborne (6-2/175) – Wilmington College; OL/DL DeWayne York (5-10, 246) – Pikeville; and OL James Lohman (6-0, 245) – Bluffton.
