Taft Tabs Conwell

By TSF Staff | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

The Taft Senators have named defensive coordinator Greg Conwell as their new head coach pending board approval.

Conwell graduated from Walnut Hills in 1993 and then went on to play running back for Rod Huber at the College of Mount St. Joseph before embarking on a coaching career.

He has been at Taft for the past four seasons and becomes the second high school head coach to be named in less than a month who played for Huber (Aaron Hancock at Wyoming was the other).

Expect to see a more disciplined Senators' squad as they look to build off their success of reaching the playoff the last two years.
