Cincy Defensive POY: Marcus Rush

Moller senior defensive end Marcus Rush was named TSF.com's Cincinnati Defensive Player of the Year.




TriStateFootball.com paid tribute to finest from Cincinnati’s high school gridiron at the Year In Review Show on Thursday night at Buca di Beppo in Norwood.

Moeller defensive end Marcus Rush was recognized as our Cincinnati Defensive Player of the Year.

The Michigan-State bound senior was a force to be reckoned with for the Crusaders up front all year long.

The First-Team All-State and First-Team All-TriStateFootball.com defender led the GCL South with 11 sacks while coming up with two picks and forcing and recovering a fumble.

Other nominations included Jibreel Black (Wyoming), Will Carroll (St. Xavier), Jerry Gates (Middletown), Joel Heath (Mount Healthy), and Jordan Hicks (Lakota West).
