By TSF Staff | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

Beechwood picked up their first win of the year by beating Holy Cross 54-21 Thursday night.

The backfield tandem of Cameron Lane and Mitch Thomas were too much for defending Class 2A state champions, Holy Cross (1-3) to handle as Beechwood (1-2) picked up their first win of the season. The Tigers juniors were outstanding as Thomas ran for 175 yard and Lane posted 167 more. Each had three of Beechwood’s eight rushing touchdowns in the contest.
