NKY: Chick-fil-A Team of the Week

By TSF Staff | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

Vote of the Chick-fil-A NKY Team of the Week.

Each week this season TriStateFootball.com will be nominating teams for our Chick-fil-A Northern Kentucky Team of the Week award, highlighting schools that earned hard-fought victories.

Visitors to our website will be able to vote once per day from the time the nominations are released through 9:00 AM Friday morning for the team of their choice. Winners will be announced weekly on Friday morning.

Teams are only eligible to win once during the season and will not be nominated again after winning the award the first time. All winning teams will be recognized by Chick-fil-A, a proud sponsor of high school football and supporter of the community.

Here are this week's nominations from Northern Kentucky:

*VOTE NOW*

BEECHWOOD (1-2)
54-21 win over Holy Cross. A banged up Beechwood team fought through adversity with a strong win over the Indians.

COVCATH (3-1)
34-0 win over Boone County. Through 12 quarters of play vs. NKY teams the Colonels have yet to allow a point.

DIXIE HEIGHTS (1-3)
33-30 win over Conner. The young Colonels showed great improvement as they upset No. 4 Conner for their first win.

HIGHLANDS (3-0)
51-23 win over Louisville Western. The Bluebirds are flying high early on in the season and didn't blink on the road.

LLOYD (3-1)
38-33 in over Walton-Verona. After trailing for a good part of the game, the Juggernauts rallied past the Bearcats.
