Each week this season TriStateFootball.com will be nominating teams for our Gold Star Chili Cincinnati Team of the Week award, highlighting schools that earned hard-fought victories.
Visitors to our website will be able to vote once per day from the time the nominations are released through 9:00 AM Friday morning for the team of their choice. Winners will be announced weekly on Friday morning.
Teams are only eligible to win once during the season and will not be nominated again after winning the award the first time. All winning teams will be recognized by Chick-fil-A, a proud sponsor of high school football and supporter of the community.
Here are this week's nominations from Cincinnati:

COLERAIN (3-0)
31-28 win over St. Xavier. After losing to the Bombers twice a year ago, the Cards picked up a huge road win here.
GOSHEN (3-0)
34-0 win over Bethel-Tate. Don't look now but the Warriors are 3-0. They are averaging nearly 33 points per contest.
LAKOTA EAST (2-1)
17-14 win over Northmont. The Thunderhawks picked up a nice road win in a trip to Northmont and move to 2-1.
LOVELAND (2-1)
17-0 win over Oak HIlls. The Tigers bounced back nicely from Week 2 loss by shutting out the Highlanders.
PURCELL MARIAN (1-2)
24-7 win over Reading. The Cavaliers snapped a nine-game losing streak with a nice effort over the Blue Devils.
WESTERN BROWN (3-0)
56-8 win over Waverly. Three weeks in and the Broncos are putting points on the board at an alarming rate (46.3 ppg)
WINTON WOODS (2-1)
51-13 win over Middletown. Not only did the Warriors upset the Middies, they dominated them with 461 total yards of offense.
