Each week this season TriStateFootball.com will be nominating teams for our Gold Star Chili Cincinnati Team of the Week award, highlighting schools that earned hard-fought victories.
Visitors to our website will be able to vote once per day from the time the nominations are released through 9:00 AM Friday morning for the team of their choice. Winners will be announced weekly on Friday morning.
Teams are only eligible to win once during the season and will not be nominated again after winning the award the first time. All winning teams will be recognized by Chick-fil-A, a proud sponsor of high school football and supporter of the community.
Here are this week's nominations from Cincinnati:
58-0 win over Cincinnati Christian. CHCA is undefeated and have now outscored their opponents by a 135-39 margin.
34-20 win over Wilmington. The Cougars continue to impress and are off to a 4-0 start after getting a big SWOC win.
38-21 win over Mariemont. The Mustangs picked up a win in their first CHL game of the year and are averaging 35 points per contest.
42-14 win over Carroll. After dropping the first game of the year last week to Turpin, the Rockets bounced back in a big way here.
34-27 win over Louisivlle St. Xaiver. The Crusaders continued to flourish against a tough non-conference schedule.
31-14 win over Ross. Northwest is doing well on both sides of the ball and it showed on Friday night as they grabbed a conference win.
22-12 win over Western Hills. Don't look now but the Jaguars are off to a 4-0 start and now 1-0 inside CMAC play.
50-17 win over Hamilton. Sycamore is red hot right now and dominated their opening matchup inside the GMC.
