Cincy: Gold Star Team of the Week

Each week this season TriStateFootball.com will be nominating teams for our Gold Star Chili Cincinnati Team of the Week award, highlighting schools that earned hard-fought victories.

Visitors to our website will be able to vote once per day from the time the nominations are released through 9:00 AM Friday morning for the team of their choice. Winners will be announced weekly on Friday morning.

Teams are only eligible to win once during the season and will not be nominated again after winning the award the first time. All winning teams will be recognized by Chick-fil-A, a proud sponsor of high school football and supporter of the community.

Here are this week's nominations from Cincinnati:

ANDERSON (3-3)
28-21 win over Loveland. After starting the year 0-3, the Redskins are on a roll winning three straight.

BLANCHESTER (3-3)
14-7 win over New Richmond. The Wildcats squeaked by New Richmond to pull to .500 on the season.

HARRISON (3-3)
16-12 win over Wilmington. The young Harrison squad keeps getting better each week and have won three in a row.

LAKOTA WEST (6-0)
42-18 win over Princeton. Lakota West is the real deal and sitting at 6-0 they control their own destiny.

MOELLER (5-1)
37-22 win over LaSalle. The Crusaders bounced back nicely from their loss to St. X by taking care of LaSalle.

SYCAMORE (5-1)
48-41 win over Fairfield. With the Colerain loss behind them, Sycamore continued to cruise towards a playoff berth.

WYOMING (4-2)
41-12 win over Deer Park. Wyoming moved to 3-0 in the CHL and following an 0-2 start they won four straight games.
