Cincy: Gold Star Team of the Week

Vote now for this week's Gold Star Chili Cincy Team of the Week.

Each week this season TriStateFootball.com will be nominating teams for our Gold Star Chili Cincinnati Team of the Week award, highlighting schools that earned hard-fought victories.

Visitors to our website will be able to vote once per day from the time the nominations are released through 9:00 AM Friday morning for the team of their choice. Winners will be announced weekly on Friday morning.

Teams are only eligible to win once during the season and will not be nominated again after winning the award the first time. All winning teams will be recognized by Chick-fil-A, a proud sponsor of high school football and supporter of the community.

Here are this week's nominations from Cincinnati:

FENWICK (6-2)
35-7 win over Chaminade-Julienne. The Falcons are flying high at the right time, winners of three straight.

GLEN ESTE (4-4)
35-27 win over Anderson. After starting 1-4 the Trojans pull to .500 by winning their third in a row.

MASON (5-3)
28-13 win over Lakota East. The Comets get a big GMC win in their final home game of the season.

PURCELL MARIAN (2-6)
21-14 win over Badin. The Cavaliers shocked Badin and won their first game inside GCL play since 2006.

ROSS (4-4)
27-0 win over Harrison. The Rams proved to be a bit too much for a young Harrison team to handle.

WALNUT HILLS (4-4)
20-17 win over Loveland. It's been a roller coaster ride for the Eagles, but Senior Night was special.

WITHROW (6-2)
42-14 win over Western Hills. The Tigers laid claimed to another CMAC title with a big Week 8 victory.
