TSF NKY Rankings: Week 10

Winners of three straight, NewCath has moved up to No. 7 in our latest NKY Rankings.




Entering the final week of regular-season action things remained mostly the same in our latest TSF NKY Rankings, with the exception on NewCath moving up two spots to No. 7 while both Ryle and Holmes dropped a spot.

Highlands, CovCath, Cooper, Conner and Campbell County make out the top five in the poll.

Here are the latest TriStateFootball.com Northern Kentucky Rankings:

1. Highlands (8-1)
How they fared: Highlands saw their 28-game winning streak snapped as they fell at home to Elder.
Looking Ahead: The Bluebirds look to a start a new streak as they travel to Highlands.

2. CovCath (7-2)
How they fared: The Colonels clinched the No. 2 seed in the district with a win at Holmes.
Looking Ahead: CovCath wraps up regular-season play with a tough matchup vs. Conner.

3. Cooper (8-1)
How they fared: Cooper concluded district play with a 42-6 victory versus Grant County.
Looking Ahead: The Jaguars travel to Dixie Heights to face a red-hot Colonels' team.

4. Conner (7-2)
How they fared: The Cougars picked up their fourth straight win by defeating Scott.
Looking Ahead: Conner welcomes CovCath in their regular-season finale.

5. Campbell County (6-3)
How they fared: Campbell County wrapped up district play with a perfect mark by beating Boone County.
Looking Ahead: The Camels make the trip south to face Louisville Ballard in Week 10.

6. Simon Kenton (7-2)
How they fared: The Pioneers rested up with a bye during Week 9 as they brace for the postseason.
Looking Ahead: Simon Kenton heads to Scott County to wrap up their regular-season slate.

7. NewCath (5-4)
How they fared: NCC has won three straight games, outscoring district foes 161-32 during that span.
Looking Ahead: NewCath plays host to long-time rival Beechwood to conclude the regular season.

8. Ryle (3-6)
How they fared: The Raiders continued to fizzle down the stretch, falling to Dixie Heights in OT.
Looking Ahead: It won't get any easier for Ryle in Week 10 as they are set to host Highlands.

9. Holmes (5-4)
How they fared: Holmes were overmatched by district foes CovCath as they fall to 2-2 in the district.
Looking Ahead: The Bulldogs look to finish the regular season with a winning record vs. Holy Cross.

10. Walton-Verona (7-2)
How they fared: The Bearcats made it five straight wins by shutting out Brossart, 48-0.
Looking Ahead: Walton-Verona concludes its regular season at Estill County.
