Thursday, the reigning OPSWA Division IV Offensive Player of the Year Evan Prater announced his verbal commitment to suit up for the Cincinnati Bearcats. The Wyoming quarterback is coming off a sensational season helping the Cowboys to the state title. He ran for a career high 242 yards in the championship game. Considering that, Wyoming has started the second half of 10 of its 20 games on the running clock (ahead by 30+ points) over the two seasons with Prater under center and that he has only averaged 7.9 completions per game, in that span, his productivity is off the charts.
