VOTE: Mella Window Player of the Week – Week 2

2026 Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week presented by TriStateFootball.com

TriStateFootball.com is proud to once again recognize the Tri-State’s top high school football performances with the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week throughout the 2026 season.

Each week, players from Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Eastern Indiana will be nominated based on standout performances from the previous weekend. The TSF staff will select the finalists, and then it’s up to the fans to determine the winner.

Voting opens each Sunday and runs through Wednesday at 12:00 PM Eastern. Fans may vote once per hour, per IP address. Voting activity is monitored, and any votes determined to be fraudulent or an attempt to manipulate the results may be removed.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK RULES

  • Players may win the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week award only once during the season.
  • A player may be nominated a maximum of three times during the season.
  • Weekly nominees are selected by the TriStateFootball.com staff based on performances from across the Tri-State.
  • Fans may vote once per hour, per IP address.
  • Voting closes each Wednesday at 12:00 PM Eastern.

All weekly winners will be recognized at the TriStateFootball.com Year in Review Show following the season and will receive a commemorative Player of the Week plaque.

Bryce Armstrong, Highlands, So., QB – Threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 102 yards and two more scores in the Bluebirds’ victory over Cooper.

Q’Moni Bankhead, Gamble Montessori, Jr., QB – Threw for 138 yards and a touchdown, rushed for 137 yards and two scores, and added four tackles and a sack as the Gators improved to 2-0.

Donovan Brown, Wyoming, WR/DB – Hauled in three touchdown receptions, recorded an interception and returned a fumble 63 yards for a score in the Cowboys’ 48-8 victory over Purcell Marian.

Eric Cody, Roger Bacon, Fr., RB/DB – Found the end zone four times with three rushing touchdowns and one receiving score, rushed for 142 yards and added an interception in the Spartans’ win over Western Hills.

Xander Guy, Campbell County, QB – Threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns as the Camels rolled past Southwestern, 47-14.

Wyatt Lassen, Lebanon, Jr., WR – Reeled in six receptions for 158 yards and three touchdowns while finishing with 219 all-purpose yards as the Warriors blew out Loveland, 49-7.

Alex Nagel, Mason, Jr., QB – Carried the ball 19 times for 189 yards and four touchdowns as the Comets raced past Sycamore, 43-24.

Kenyon Norman, Lakota West, Sr., RB – Carried the ball 13 times for 262 yards and four touchdowns as the Firebirds downed rival Lakota East, 48-18.

Nate Pabst, Beechwood, Sr., WR/DB/KR – Returned the opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown, added two rushing scores and amassed more than 200 all-purpose yards — all in the first half — as the Tigers shut out Indian Hill, 42-0.

Charlie Park, Ryle, Jr., LB – Recorded an interception, recovered a fumble and was in on five tackles as the Raiders took down Conner, 36-21.

Owen Scalf, Anderson, Sr., QB – Completed all 15 of his passes for 320 yards and five touchdowns and rushed four times for 78 yards and another score as the Raptors rolled up a 70-19 victory over West Clermont.

Aydin Sistrunk, MVCA, Sr., RB – Rushed for 242 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries as the Lions roared past Clermont Northeastern, 49-28.

Caden Slusher, Goshen, Jr., QB – Completed 8-of-11 passes for 169 yards and four touchdowns as the Warriors handled Hillsboro, 49-7.

Aiden Wehrun, Milford, So., QB – Completed 17-of-22 passes for 334 yards and five touchdowns and added another score on the ground in his varsity debut as the Eagles flew past Walnut Hills, 47-7.
