Wayne has set the tone for how football should be played at the Division I level in the Dayton area. The Warriors have been to the state title game twice in the last five years only to fall to Lakewood St. Edward both times. The program has risen to become a power in Southwest Ohio under head coach Jay Minton. In 18 seasons Minton has gone 145-53 as the Warriors front man.
