Last-minute score lifts Lloyd

Senior wide receiver Charles Gaines caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Jordan Fann with 37 seconds left to lead Lloyd to a 28-20 win over Walton-Verona on Friday.
The touchdown broke a 20-20 tie, and junior Justin Durham tacked on the two-point conversion on a run.
Gaines finished with five catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns.
Walton-Verona was led by senior running back Noah Richardson, who rushed 13 times for 179 yards including 79-yard and 22-yard TD runs.
