Colerain tops St. X on overtime FG
- Updated: September 5, 2015

A 38-yard overtime field goal by Christian Dinevski lifted Colerain over St. Xavier, 13-10 on Saturday.
The Cardinals opened the scoring less than three minutes into the game when Javon Hicks caught a 44-yard TD pass from Deshaunte Jones.
It would be Colerain’s only touchdown of the game.
The Bombers’ Nick Arcuri cut the lead to four when he hit a 44-yard field goal in the first minute of the second quarter.

Colerain tackles St. Xavier (Michael Noyes/TSF).
St. Xavier tied it late in the quarter as Pete Rumpke ran in a one-yard score. Neither team generated points in the final period.
The teams combined for just 376 yards, with the Bombers ending the game with 209 – 164 of which came on the ground.
Colerain finished with 167 yards of offense, 118 rushing and 49 passing.
St. Xavier’s Sean Prophit was the game’s leading rusher with 73 ground yards on 17 attempts, and Andrew Homer recorded three sacks to lead the Bombers’ defense.
The Cardinals will face another GCL South team next week when they travel to La Salle. The Bombers will host Mentor.
