Simon Kenton shuts out Conner

Senior Dillon Powell rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries as Simon Kenton pounded Conner, 54-0 on Saturday.
Pioneers senior quarterback Cameron Racke was 13-for-19 for 154 yards and a pair of TDs, and he also ran for another score.
Simon Kenton finished with 348 ground yards on 48 rushes. The Pioneers held the Cougars to 74 rushing yards, and Conner was 10 of 30 passing.
Leading the Simon Kenton defense were juniors cornerback Trent Kincaid (five broken-up passes), inside linebacker Markie Rider (fumble recovery) and inside linebacker Brian Carter (8½ tackles).
The Pioneers host Dixie Heights next week, and Conner is at Scott.
