The lightning strikes delayed much of the action this past weekend, but when the dust settled there were some pretty good football games. All of that played into a flurry of movement across each of our segments in the latest TSF Team Rankings.
RANKINGS – OHIO DI
There is no rest for the weary. Our Top 10 isn’t avoiding challenges and this weekend will be no different. Colerain will head to Division II-III top ranked La Salle. St. Xavier hosts an explosive Mentor squad. Centerville appears to be headed for another shootout with high-scoring Lebanon. Those are just some of the highlights of another intense week of football for Southwest Ohio’s big schools…COMPLETE RANKINGS
RANKINGS – OHIO DII-DIII
Four teams in the Top 10 lost this past weekend. Mount Healthy fell four spots and Winton Woods dropped a couple of notches as well. Loveland and Harrison have been replaced in the poll by Butler and Tippecanoe. Top-ranked La Salle will host Division I #1 Colerain in this weekend’s premier battle. Other Top 10 battles in the week ahead include #5 Mount Healthy taking on # 6 Glen Este while Trotwood-Madison and Winton Woods will also take on very good Division I teams…COMPLETE RANKINGS
RANKINGS – OHIO DIV-DVII
There is a new sheriff atop the Ohio small school rankings as Badin takes over the #1 spot. Clinton-Massie’s tough loss at Steubenville dropped the Falcons to the #4 slot behind three very strong GCL Co-eds schools. This weekend will feature a rare slate as none of our ranked teams are set to face each other…COMPLETE RANKINGS
RANKINGS – NKY
There are more teams falling from grace rather than maintaining their spots in the Top 8 in Northern Kentucky. No one seems to be able to play defense consistently which has resulted in many teams dropping in the latest poll. Ryle is on the rise, moving up to #2 after Cooper was shutout at Bryan Station. NewCath replaced Campbell County after the Thoroughbreds went to Alexandria and knocked off the Camels. The highlight of this weekend’s schedule is Highlands hosting Ryle…COMPLETE RANKINGS
