Fenwick Remains Perfect
- Updated: October 2, 2015

The Fenwick Falcons remained undefeated with a 24-10 GCL Co-ed win against struggling McNicholas Rockets on Friday.
The win matches Fenwick’s total from last season when the Falcons finished 6-4, including a 14-13 loss to the Rockets.
The Rockets got the scoring started early with a field goal by Cole Carmosino to give the team their first of two leads of the game at 3-0.
After a McNickolas touchdown put the Rockets up 10-3, Fenwick’s Nathan Jeffers found the endzone on a three-yard run to tie the game 10-10 at halftime.
The Rockets struggled to find the endzone in the second half, as they were shut out in the second half for the third time this season.
It was not until the fourth quarter that Fenwick took the lead on a one-yard run by Alan Nix. That scoring drive was followed up by a four-yard Jeffers run to extend the lead to 24-10 and continue their undefeated season.
Fenwick (6-0, 1-0 GCL Co-Ed) will travel to the Sheakley Center at the University of Cincinnati next week to take on the Purcell Marian Cavaliers. McNicholas (2-4, 1-1 GCL Co-Ed) will look to pick up its third win of the season at Penn Station Stadium on Friday night to take on Carroll.
