Late TD lifts Mason over Sycamore

Matt Sora ran in a two-yard touchdown with 3:07 remaining as Mason edged Sycamore, 22-18 on Friday.
J.D. Locke had given the Aviators the lead, 18-15 on a 24-yard field goal midway through the fourth quarter.
The Comets finish tied for second in the GMC with a 6-1 league record, even with Lakota West. They have won their last six games, while Sycamore dropped its final three.
The Aviators actually outgained Mason, 380-277.
Preston Hutchinson finished 10-for-10 for 186 yards and a touchdown to pace the Comets, and his favorite target, Nick Pearson, caught four of those passes for 82 yards including the TD.
Sycamore QB Jake Borman was 18 of 28 for 27 yards and one score, with Khadim Fall had nine catches for 111 yards. RaVon Bonner rushed 25 times for 97 yards and a touchdown.
