Williamsburg’s Clowery Voted WCPO POW

Williamsburg RB/DB Spencer Clowery was voted the Mercy Orthopedic Player of the Week for Week 7, registering 3,734 votes (27.75 percent).
In addition to having 33 touches for a total of 250 yards, Clowery had two interceptions, including one for a pick six. He had a total of six touchdowns on the night to help the Wildcats past SBAAC rival, Batavia.
Clowery edged out Edgewood’s Thomas Lindsay and Steve Cunningham of Hamilton in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 12 players were nominated with 13,458 votes casted.
We will be presenting awards to each of this season’s winners at the upcoming TSF Year in Review Shows coming in mid-to-late February at Holy Grail at The Banks (more details coming soon).
