East Central’s Patton Voted POW
- Updated: November 6, 2015
East Central’s quarterback Luke Patton was voted the Mercy Orthopedic Player of the Week for Week 10, registering 1,980 votes (30.7 percent).
Patton found the end zone three times and ran for 231 yards as the East Central went on the road and beat Shelbyville to advance to the sectional championship game.
The senior edged out David Keeling of Fairfield and Cincinnati Country Day’s Darryn Jordan in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 12 players were nominated with 6.405 votes casted.
We will be presenting awards to each of this season’s winners at the upcoming TSF Year in Review Shows coming in mid-to-late February at Holy Grail at The Banks (more details coming soon).
This was our final WCPO Player of the Week poll of the season. Thanks to all the thousands of high school football fans that votes and congratulations to all the athletes that were nominated during the 2015 regular season for their outstanding performances.
