Team of the Week – Week 10

Gold Star Chili and TriStateFootball.com are partnering to present the High School Football Team of the Week during the 2015 regular season. Each week 8-10 schools will be nominated from the Greater Cincinnati area to be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner.
The voting is open now until Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Voters can vote once per hour, per IP address.
Once a team has won, they were ineligible to be nominated a second time. All of the winning teams will receive a trophy to be presented at their school by Gold Star Chili.
Here are this week’s nominations:
BEECHWOOD (9-1)
The Tigers took it to their long-time rivals, NewCath, with a 31-14 win on Senior Night at Edgar McNabb Field.
CHCA (9-1)
CHCA won its ninth straight game and locked in the No. 2 seed in the Division V, Region 18 playoffs by rolling by New Miami, 54-6.
COLERAIN (9-1)
Colerain finished the GMC with another perfect mark on their way to the title as they picked up their 52nd straight conference win at Oak Hills.
ELDER (7-3)
With a win at Lancer Stadium, the Panthers grabbed a share of the GCL South co-championship with St. Xavier. The win also secured an opening-round playoff game at The Pit.
FAIRFIELD (8-2)
The Indians rallied with two fourth-quarter TD’s to beat Hamilton 20-14 on the road and earn a post-season berth.
GLEN ESTE (8-2)
After knocking off Withrow 49-17 in Week 10, the Trojans punched their ticket for November football and will get another crack at ECC foe Turpin this Friday.
INDIAN HILL (10-0)
Indian Hill finishes the year perfect by knocking off Reading in a triple OT thriller to win the CHL and stay the only unbeated team in Cincinnati high school football.
MASON (8-2)
The Comets won their sixth straight by getting a Senior Night win over Sycamore, 22-18. Mason gets to stay at home in Week 11 with the effort.
RYLE (8-2)
The Raiders bounced back from a tough Week 9 loss, by finishing the regular season with a 31-14 road win at Dixie Heights.
TURPIN (9-1)
Turpin bounced back from their first loss of the season, by the finishing the regular season with a 38-7 win at Walnut Hills.
