Indiana Defensive POY: Hunter Armstrong

Speed was the name of the game for Class 4A state runner-up East Central (12-3) linebacker as he was named the 2015 TriStateFootball.com Indiana Defensive Player of the Year as TSF paid tribute to finest from Northern Kentucky, Dayton, Cincinnati and Southeast Indiana area’s high school gridiron at the Year in Review Show on Wednesday night at the Holy Grail-Banks in downtown Cincinnati.
The senior led the Trojans with 91 total tackles and unassisted takedowns with 46. He had six and-a-half tackles for losses, two sacks and two interceptions. Armstrong was also named AP Class 4a First Team All-Indiana and the EIAC Division 4A Defensive MVP for his efforts.
