2010 All-TSF Team sees six drafted
- Updated: May 2, 2016
The 2010 postseason All-TriStateFootball.com team is turning out to be quite the talented group. Six members of 2010 All-TSF squad were picked in the 2016 NFL draft. Ryan Kelly, C (Lakota West/Alabama) was the first to go as Indianapolis selected him with the 18th overall pick in the 1st Round. In the 3rd Round Joe Thuney, OL (Alter/North Carolina State) went to New England at pick 78, Adolphus Washington, DL (Taft/Ohio State) was off to Buffalo two picks later and teammate Braxton Miller went to Houston at pick 83. Sneaking into the 7th Round was Donovan Clark, OG (Finneytown/Michigan State) with a ticket to San Diego while Steven Daniels, LB (St. Xavier/Boston College) was picked by Washington.
Ironically, the highest local pick in this NFL draft was Taylor Decker, OL (Butler, Ohio State) who went to the Detroit Lions two picks before Kelly was selected. Decker was a 2011 Second Team All-TSF selection. Michael Bennett, DL (Centerville/Ohio State) was a member of the 2010 All-TSF Team and was selected in the 2015 NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars where is currently on the roster.
There were several members of the 2010 All-TSF Team that did not get drafted but were signed as undrafted free agents following Sunday’s final pick. Expect those number of UDFA signing’s to rise over the next couple of weeks.
The 2010 All-TSF team consisted of 111 players from 149 different teams from Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana.
