Ryle holds off Henry Clay

Ryle scored the first 28 points then held on for a 34-28 win over Lexington Henry Clay at Lexington Catholic on Friday.
Jacob Chisholm rushed for two touchdowns – one in each half – scoring from 15 and four yards out.
Mason Molique kicked a pair of field goals, recording the only points of the first quarter. Chisholm scored his first touchdown to make it 10-0, and Bryce Ashley caught a 5-yard pass from Tanner Morgan to make it a three-possession game.
Chisholm finished with 127 rushing yards on 15 carries and his two scores, and Morgan went 16-for-26 for 153 yards and one TD.
Josh Sandmann also found the end zone for the Raiders, who improved to 2-0 and will play their first true road game of the season at Boone County next week.
