- Updated: September 23, 2016
Edgewood scored three unanswered touchdowns in the second half – including back-to-back TD receptions by Eddie Driskell – to pull away in a 44-28 win over Harrison on Friday.
The Cougars led by just three at the break but were ahead by 23 after their second-half surge before a late Wildcats score.
Devon Garrett rushed for 170 yards and two TDs in the Edgewood win.
Frankie Young finished 14 of 28 for 243 yards and three scores for Harrison, and Gerald Smith caught five of those passes for 102 yards and a pair of TDs.
Edgewood travels to Ross next week while Harrison heads to Talawanda.
