Franklin Voted Team of the Week

The Franklin Wildcats were voted the Gold Star Chili Team of the Week for Week 2 as they knocked off the Edgewood Cougars, 27-21 to move to 2-0.

Franklin finished with 1,971(35.3 percent) of the 5,584 total votes tallied, edging out Princeton and Bethel-Tate in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com.

Colerain, Lebanon, Lloyd, Mariemont, Simon Kenton, Walnut Hills, and Winton Woods were also nominated.

As the Team of the Week winner, the Wildcats will be presented an award at the school in the near future from our friends at Gold Star Chili.
